Jason has lived abroad but has been in the North Texas area since 2006. He has many hobbies and interest including everything outdoors, martial arts, mountain biking, travel, and being present with his children. Jason has been married for 24 years and has 4 children. Jason also loves animals and has 2 boxers named Bandit and Bella. Jason embodies many qualities but is known by most to be kind, caring, and present with those he supports.
My name is Jason Baker and I would like to introduce myself as a mental health professional in your area. I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas since 2006 and have worked with thousands of people locally and nationwide as a counselor. Viewing this profile, you may be contemplating steps towards seeking emotional support for yourself or for a loved one. Our lives create many obstacles and challenges to overcome. A new balance in life can happen with the right support and guidance. I invite you to sit down with me to discuss the next steps toward identifying your goals and discussing emotional support. I will be attentive to your ideas, answer any question you may have, identify goals, and discuss the direction you feel most comfortable taking. I believe in hope and being present with those who are seeking a higher quality of life.

This is a therapeutic technique that enables people to heal from the symptoms and emotional distress that are the result of disturbing life experiences (trauma).
We are happy to offer testing and therapeutic services using a variety of holistic approaches. These approaches can be used as either supplemental services to traditional therapy or sometimes in place of them.
Both Play Therapy and Art Therapy can be used to help clients interpret, express, and resolve their emotions and thoughts. Although Play Therapy is often used for children, Art Therapy can be used with a wide age range.
