Work as a fully Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of Texas. Counsel clients using Art Therapy. Provide therapies as a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP). Provide animal assisted therapies. Perform therapy and counseling with a wide range of individuals, families, and couples. Implement therapeutic treatment using approved methods of planning, case management and crisis intervention to assist clients in overcoming substance abuse and mental health disorders. Utilize evidence-based theories and techniques to effectively counsel individuals, groups, and families.
Requires a Master’s Degree in psychology, counseling, social work, a closely related major, or foreign equivalent, and two years of experience in the job offered or 2 yrs of experience as an Art Therapist; as a Somatic Experience Practitioner; and in animal assisted therapy. Requires LCSW in the state of Texas.
