Pennie and her husband have been married since 1983 and are enjoying life as empty nesters. She finds joy in creating arts and crafts, traveling, and checking off bucket-list beach trips—where she swears “insurance should cover beach therapy.” Sand, water, and jazz bring peace to her soul. She is a loyal fan of the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Bucks and loves the adventure of long road trips with her husband.
I take a collaborative, client-centered approach that integrates biblical principles with evidence-based methods such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy to support meaningful change. My therapeutic process is designed to address the emotional, behavioral, contextual, and spiritual needs of clients, empowering them to navigate challenges such as child behavioral concerns, family conflict, depression, anxiety, domestic abuse, and relationship difficulties.
With over thirty years of experience working with individuals and families, I partner with clients to identify their strengths, values, and core identities, while guiding them in developing practical solutions for life’s transitions. My goal is to help clients restore balance, build resilience, and gain the tools they need to achieve lasting growth and healing.
I work with a diverse population, including children (ages 5 and above), adolescents, young adults, adults, couples, parents, families, and individuals preparing for marriage.
All of our therapists are trained and equipped to help you through issues related to anxiety, depression, and stress using a variety of techniques and tools designed specifically for you.
This is a therapeutic technique that enables people to heal from the symptoms and emotional distress that are the result of disturbing life experiences (trauma).
We are happy to offer testing and therapeutic services using a variety of holistic approaches. These approaches can be used as either supplemental services to traditional therapy or sometimes in place of them.
Both Play Therapy and Art Therapy can be used to help clients interpret, express, and resolve their emotions and thoughts. Although Play Therapy is often used for children, Art Therapy can be used with a wide age range.
We’d like to stay in touch through a simple newsletter.
