Personal

I am a proud retired Navy veteran and mother of two beautiful daughters, ages 24 and 10. Family is at the center of my life, and I cherishes every opportunity to create lasting memories with my girls. I enjoy spending free time reading, roller skating, crafting, and exploring the beauty of nature. Whether I am enjoying a quiet moment with a good book, working on a creative project, or spending time outdoors, I value experiences that bring joy, growth, and connection. I treasure both family and friendships and appreciate the opportunity to share life’s special moments with those I love most.

Professional Disclosure Statement

The therapeutic relationship is where helpful change can begin. I look forward to sharing and building real and trustworthy relationships while respecting one another. My goal is to provide a space where clients can feel empathy for their struggles, notice their strengths, and move to their goals. The counseling approach used are inspired from the Satir Growth Model and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). Rather than concentrating on the issues, I assist clients in recognizing instances of successful coping by expanding on current strengths rather than focusing on problems. I believe in fostering growth, self-awareness, resilience and practical solutions for sustainable change. I work with a varied clientele that consists of children aged 7 years and above, teens, young adults, individuals, couples, families, and parents to veterans. I have a passion for empowering my clients to find their own resources to grow, improve relationships, confidence and well-being.
