Will has been married for over 23 years and are proud of their three children who comprise much of their time. Much of their interest is in traveling since Will’s wife, Ana, is from Brazil. While they speak English at home, much of the culture has been graced with Brazilian and Portuguese culture and great dishes that they as a family enjoy. Will’s passion includes aviation, which he acquired as a B-52 Electronic Warfare Officer and inspired him to become a pilot as well. He and his family thrive on maintaining an avid relationship with Jesus as they participate at Milestone Church. He has over 30 years of experience spanning both inpatient and outpatient care, working with addictions, and supporting foster children at various agencies throughout the DFW metroplex. He has provided services to the Customs and Border Patrol, Social Security Administration and an assortment of Employee Assistance Programs. Recently he was called upon to address the Veterans of Foreign Wars to provide group counseling as he addressed issues related to depression and suicide prevention.
In my practice of psychotherapy I have had over 30 years of experience working with children and adults in a variety of settings including outpatient therapy, inpatient therapy, individual therapy, marriage and group therapy as well as emergency room crisis intervention. I provide psychological evaluations and personality profiles that significantly increase success in divorce recovery and premarital work. I have worked in the foster care system with children, teens and young adults, blended families and a host of situations that call for expertise in parenting and the development of coping skills. Depression, anxiety and relationship issues have been areas that I have had the pleasure of working with as well as experienced much success. In my practice, I have focused upon patients ranging in ages from 4 to senior adults on a variety of issues such as marriage and family, anxiety and various addictions such as pornography and substance abuse. I also have expertise in areas such as grief and loss as well as stress and anger management. I combined a no-nonsense practical approach with spiritually based psychotherapy. I have served in the United states Air Force and have traveled throughout the world with diverse populations and culture speaking Spanish and Portuguese have been of great benefit in communicating with people of many backgrounds and cultures.
