Professional Disclosure Statement

Being a part of the human race, means that this gift we share called life, will throw us a few curve balls. We will experience joy and pain, sunshine and rain (sounds like a song..lol). However, when we refuse to talk about the things that have impacted us, I strongly believe that silence kills. It kills your joy, your positivity, your trust of others, your motivation, your relationships, your present and future, to say the least.

I believe the therapeutic process is a journey that the client embarks upon, and the therapist aids and equips the client along the way to win, however they define winning. I love Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) which helps increase client’s self-awareness and change their own limiting behaviors. I am also trained in Eye movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a therapy modality which helps to reprocess traumatic memories, emotions and negative thoughts. I have worked with a broad population of individuals, those new to therapy, adolescents, couples, families and new couples needing premarital counseling. I would love to be a sojourner on your journey of life and let’s untangle the proverbial knots in your soul, together.
