Personal

Healing happens through connection. Counseling gives everyone a space to heal, grow, and feel accepted. Everyone deserves to tell their story and it is my passion to listen, support, and empower you. I provide empathetic understanding, teach practical coping skills, and create top-notch treatment plans tailored to your specific needs.

I fell in love with counseling during my undergraduate play therapy course. I was inspired by learning a new way to interact and connect with the children I nannied. This passion led me to pursue a Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a special concentration in Adolescents.

During my internship at the Art Station, I provided counseling for children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of settings. I facilitate counseling from a person-centered perspective, meaning that you are the expert on your life. I am simply there to help put the pieces together. I use art and activity therapy to encourage self-exploration from a new perspective. This makes tough conversations easier to have by allowing you to express yourself in ways other than words. I cultivate a safe non-judgmental environment and will follow you wherever you need to go. Let’s start the journey to a happier healthier life!
