As a member of a large and close-knit family, I’ve always found joy and fulfillment in fostering connections and supporting those around me. With over 35 years in education, I’ve had the privilege of nurturing the minds and spirits of countless students, guiding them through challenges and celebrating their successes. Now I embark on the next chapter of my career of guiding individuals through their personal journeys, providing support, and empowering them to overcome obstacles. I believe I can facilitate meaningful change and growth in the lives of those I serve. I find solace and inspiration in the beauty of nature. I believe in the therapeutic power of the outdoors; therefore, you might find me on a bike, in a garden or at a lake on my time off. I love spending quality time with my family, whether it’s cooking a meal outdoors, playing board games, or taking a road trip; this time with one another nourishes my soul and reminds me of what truly matters in life.
I believe in establishing a warm, empathetic, and trusting relationship between myself and my clients. I recognize the importance of creating a safe and supportive space where clients feel heard, understood, and valued. After 35 years in education, I have found that I mostly use an eclectic approach to counseling; however, I am well versed in the use of evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy. These evidence-based approaches are aimed at assisting clients in resolving concerns or issues by identifying and changing unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors, as well as focusing on solutions and building upon strengths. I believe these approaches and others, that best fit the client, will assist in promoting positive change and improving overall well-being. I work with clients ranging in age from 6 to adult, and I can provide counseling in English and Spanish. Whether you are seeking support for personal growth, managing life transitions, coping with mental health concerns, or addressing relationship issues, I am committed to tailoring my approach to meet your unique needs and goals. I am committed to providing you with the highest quality of care and support on your journey toward healing and growth. I believe we all have a purpose in life. Let’s make your life’s journey and purpose a good one! I look forward to meeting with you.

This is a therapeutic technique that enables people to heal from the symptoms and emotional distress that are the result of disturbing life experiences (trauma).
We are happy to offer testing and therapeutic services using a variety of holistic approaches. These approaches can be used as either supplemental services to traditional therapy or sometimes in place of them.
Both Play Therapy and Art Therapy can be used to help clients interpret, express, and resolve their emotions and thoughts. Although Play Therapy is often used for children, Art Therapy can be used with a wide age range.
