Personal

I don’t see people as problems to solve, but I also don’t pretend that insight alone changes things. Most of the time, there’s a reason something keeps repeating—patterns, reactions, ways of relating that once made sense and now feel harder to justify. I’m interested in those contradictions: the part of you that wants something different, and the part that keeps pulling in another direction. Therapy, to me, is less about “fixing” and more about understanding those internal dynamics well enough that change isn’t forced but rather actually fits.
People come in for all kinds of reasons, but what matter isn’t just what is happening, it’s how it’s being held in place. The same experience can take on different meanings depending on the context around it, the history behind it, and the role it’s playing. Rather than narrowing things down too quickly, I tend to stay with things a bit longer and widen the lens. That usually makes it easier to see what’s actually going on, not just what’s most obvious.
Change rarely happens in a straight line. It’s often uneven, sometimes frustrating, and not always logical. Instead of trying to override that, I work with it. Paying attention to where things get stuck, where they begin to shift, and what actually helps those shifts hold over time. The goal isn’t just awareness, but a way of moving through things that feels more intentional and less automatic.
