I believe the therapeutic relationship is one of the most important factors in meaningful and lasting change. My approach is grounded in creating an emotionally safe, relational, and collaborative environment where clients can explore their experiences honestly while developing greater self-awareness, emotional understanding, and practical coping strategies.
My clinical work is informed by 26 years of experience across crisis intervention, trauma-informed care, interpersonal process work, intensive family services, psychoeducation, relationship-focused care, therapeutic groups, and higher-acuity levels of treatment. I have extensive experience working with trauma, emotional dysregulation, interpersonal conflict, attachment disruptions, and intergenerational patterns within family systems.
My approach integrates person-centered therapy, psychodynamic concepts, family systems perspectives, ecosystemic approaches, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), interpersonal process work, and trauma-informed care. I believe healing occurs through authentic connection, increased relational awareness, emotional processing, skill development, and the strengthening of healthier patterns within individuals, couples, families, and groups.
When working with children and families, I approach treatment systemically and relationally, recognizing that lasting change often occurs when caregivers are also supported in developing emotional attunement, co-regulation skills, balanced structure, and healthier patterns of interaction within the family system.
For clients who desire it, I am also comfortable integrating spiritually informed perspectives and Christian-based support into the therapeutic process in a manner that respects the client’s beliefs, values, and therapeutic goals.
I work with adults, couples, families, children (9 years old and older), adolescents, and groups navigating relationship challenges, anxiety, stress, emotional overwhelm, trauma-related concerns, communication difficulties, identity development, and life transitions. Therapy may include exploring relational dynamics, identifying recurring patterns, strengthening emotional regulation, developing coping skills, improving communication, and building healthier relationships with self and others.
My goal is to provide a grounded and compassionate therapeutic space where clients feel understood, respected, supported, and appropriately challenged toward meaningful growth and change.

All of our therapists are trained and equipped to help you through issues related to anxiety, depression, and stress using a variety of techniques and tools designed specifically for you.
This is a therapeutic technique that enables people to heal from the symptoms and emotional distress that are the result of disturbing life experiences (trauma).
We are happy to offer testing and therapeutic services using a variety of holistic approaches. These approaches can be used as either supplemental services to traditional therapy or sometimes in place of them.
Both Play Therapy and Art Therapy can be used to help clients interpret, express, and resolve their emotions and thoughts. Although Play Therapy is often used for children, Art Therapy can be used with a wide age range.
